FAQ:

  • Where is the reception desk located?
    • The reception is on the 8th floor.
  • Where can I find my receipt after payment?
    • You can download or print out your receipt from the convention registration site. Log in here with your email address and password, and you will find “Print the receipt” button.
  • Are there any networking events?
  • Do I have an Internet connection on the convention site?
    • You can use eduroam on the convention site as an Internet connection.
  • Do I need to print out my receipt and show it upon arrival at the convention site?
    • No. The receipt is not necessary if you register online and have already paid the convention fee in advance. The staff is going to have a participants list, so all you need is say your name and your affiliation at the reception desk at the convention site and check in.
  • Can I pay the annual due at the convention site?
    • Regrettably, we are unable to process your annual due at the convention site (we wish though).  If you are a member of JACET and have not paid the 2023 annual due until convention, don’t worry, just do settle your membership due for the 2023 fiscal year in a timely manner.
  • Can I register for the convention on-site?
    • Yes. Visit Meiji University (Surugadai Campus) directly and inform the reception desk that you wish to register for the international convention. You will be asked to fill in an electronic form and pay the convention fee with your credit card (VISA, Mastercard®, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, or Discover). Please bring your own device (e.g. smartphone) and your credit card.
  • Is there a copying machine available on the convention site?
    • If you wish to use a photocopier in a hurry, there is one on the 9th floor of the building. Please note that it is a prepaid card-operated machine, you need to buy a card to use it (1000 JPY/ 110 copies).
