Cancelled: The 59^th JACET International Convention (Kyoto, 2020)

The JACET Board of Directors and the International Convention Organization Committee (headquarters and chapter committees) have decided to cancel “The 59^th JACET International Convention (Kyoto, 2020)” scheduled to be held at Doshisha University, Shinmachi Campus from September 8^th (Tuesday) to 10^th (Thursday) 2020. Keeping in mind the safety of those involved in the preparations and of those who were planning to attend, we came to this decision after carefully considering the circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As an alternative measure for those who were accepted for research presentations, practice reports, poster sessions, and presentations by supporting members, we will prepare a venue at “The 3^rd JAAL in JACET” to be held on December 5^th (Saturday) 2020 at Takachiho University. For more information, please refer to the email message that will be sent in due course.

Regarding symposiums and workshops, we would like to ask you to apply for the 60^th Commemorative International Convention (Hiroshima, 2021) to be held from August 27^th (Friday) to 29^th (Sunday) 2021 at Yasuda Women’s University.

We would like to ask for the kind understanding and cooperation of all those involved with the convention: the keynote speakers, invited speakers from Japan and overseas, lecturers of various symposiums and workshops, supporting members, research presenters, and those who were planning to participate.
