ALAK Winter Conference

Dear Professors,

Hi! Long time, no e-mail. Hope this e-mail finds you well. ALAK is having its winter conference

on the 8th of Dec. at Seoul National University with the theme of 'Interface between Linguistics

and Language Education'. As part of the effort, in which ALAK is trying to promote some academic

exchanges among regional applied linguistics associations, we'll have, as one of the plenary

speakers this winter, Prof. Anne Pauwels, President of ALAA (Applied Linguistics Association of

Australia).

I sincerely hope that some exchange program between JACET and ALAK could be set up in the near

future so that we could exchange scholars. I've been waiting to hear from you, but I guess it's

not working out well at JACET. Not yet, anyway. But even without any formal relationship, the

participation of JACET members will be always welcome. Please visit our web page for the

information on ALAK activities.

Smile!
